The Andhra Pradesh government has announced plans to build a ₹200 crore stadium for differently-abled individuals in Visakhapatnam. Minister Dola Sri Balaveeranjaneya Swami highlighted the government's ongoing efforts to improve the welfare of differently-abled citizens, including increased pensions and providing essential resources like laptops, phones, and three-wheelers. Additionally, the government has allocated funds for various cultural festivals, including the Araku Festival and the 285th anniversary celebrations of Sant Shri Sevalal Maharaj.

In Andhra Pradesh, a new stadium will be constructed for differently-abled individuals. Minister Dola Sri Balaveeranjaneya Swami made a key announcement regarding this. The stadium, which will be built at a cost of ₹200 crore on 20 acres of land in Visakhapatnam, is intended specifically for the differently-abled community. The minister met with the Chairman of the State Library Corporation, Gonuguntla Koteswararao, in Amaravati, where the minister was invited to the 2025 Para Athletic Championship. The minister highlighted that the coalition government is dedicated to the welfare of differently-abled people. He also mentioned the increase in pensions for the differently-abled, from ₹3,000 to ₹6,000, and that those restricted to beds are being provided ₹15,000 per month. Additionally, pensions for differently-abled students are being directly deposited into their bank accounts every month. Free laptops, phones, and three-wheelers are also being provided to differently-abled students.

Visakhapatnam already has a cricket stadium, and the city is set to have another one. Recently, the Andhra Pradesh Cricket Association made a key announcement about plans to build a cricket stadium in Bhogapuram. Now, Minister Dola Sri Balaveeranjaneya Swami has confirmed that a stadium for the differently-abled will also be constructed. Meanwhile, the government has allocated ₹1 crore for the Araku Festival, which will be held from January 31 to February 2. Additionally, ₹1 crore was sanctioned for the recently held Flamingo Festival in Tirupati district, and ₹50 lakh was allocated for the 285th anniversary celebrations of Sant Shri Sevalal Maharaj, which will take place from February 13 to 15.
