IPL is always known for its big scores and humongous sixes but some bowlers stunned the world with their lightning-fast bowling which shattered the stumps and hopes of the opponents. This list starts with the Australian speedster Shaun Tait who bowled the fastest delivery of 157.7 kmph. This magic happened in 2011 when Shaun Tait was playing for Rajasthan Royals and he delivered the fastest bowl against Aron Finch who was playing for Delhi Daredevils. 



2:- Lockie Ferguson 

This Kiwi bowler is always known for his speed in world cricket and he also stepped up as the finest fast bowler in IPL. He bowled with a speed of 157.3 kmph while playing for Gujrat Titans. He bowls with new ball in powerplays and swings the bowl both ways at high speed which makes it difficult for batters to play. 



3:- Umran Malik

At number three we have the fastest Indian bowler in the history of IPL, Umran Malik, he made his debut in 2021 and he emerged as the fastest Indian bowler ever to play IPL. In 2022 he bowled the delivery with the speed of 157 kmph while playing for Surisers Hyderabad. He became the talk of the town with his speed. He bowls in powerplay and also in death overs, batters find it difficult to hit the ball because they have less than a second to react according to the line and length of the bowl.



4:- Anrich Nortje

South African pacer known for his in-swingers and out-swingers and also for his speed. He bowled the delivery of 156.2 kmph while playing for Delhi Capital against one of the best T20 batters Joss Butler who was playing for Rajasthan Royals.
